3. What are Webcasting and Streaming Services?

Webcasting’ or 'Web Streaming' refers to the process of communicating simultaneously across multiple computers for parallel distribution of media via internet using the streaming technology. The event or an avtivity is broadcasted over the internet and can be view by multiple audience. Webcasting can be of a LIVE event (Live Webcasting) as well as of a pre-recorded event (Video on Demand).

4. What is the difference between Live Webcasting and Video on Demand?

In Live Webcasting, the event or the activity is broadcasted over the internet LIVE, i.e. at the time it is going on, e.g. webcast of a live cricket match or an award ceremony. And in Video on Demand, the pre-recorded videos are streamed on the internet so that people can view as per their convenience. e.g. youtube videos. Manytimes the after the live broadcast of the event is over, the service provider puts the recording of the event on the same stream so that people can watch it. LiveStreamPro puts the event on for 15 days on the same stream.

5. Can I have a personal copy of the webcast once the event is over?

Of course, we can always make it available to you. Also, you can make the DVD yourself by downloading your event via an FTP site. At LiveStreamPro, we are always tracking on the element of utilization. Hence, we support the promotion of file archives that remain posted in LiveStreamPro archive centre. Moreover, if you want we can directly email you a link to the webcast file. You can display this link in the form of a hyperlink on either your corporate site or your personal site.

6. Can I webcast an event series with the LiveStreamPro services and solutions?

LiveStreamPro can absolutely help you in all kinds of ways in which you can successfully webcast your event series. 7. How can I view the Video on Demand for my event? 

LiveStreamPro makes the video available on the same link till 15 days after the event. For private events you will be provided with the username and password. You can use it to view your event.

8. I am facing an error as I am typing your user id and password. What to do?

The user id and password details that we give you, as the member at LiveStreamPro, are case sensitive. Therefore, while entering the details, ensure that you are typing in the correct case and that the caplock key is not on. 9. Does LiveStreamPro team carry out any editing before they put a webcast event into the archive?

Yes we do editing before posting the webcast events. The LiveStreamPro professionals edit a little bit of the end and beginning of an event or any unnecessary disturbances in the event. But you can be rest assured that we make no cosmetic changes or transformations to your event webcast that will change the very purpose or foundation of the presentation/ event. 10. What is the difference between Webcasting, Webinars and Web conferencing?

In webcasting, there is essentially a one way communication where in an event or an activity is broadcasted over the internet and the other party watches the webcast. There is no live interaction between parties.

In Webinars, an online interactive seminar is held by presenter and attended by audiences. Visual access is provided to the information the presenter is wanting to share. Audiences voices are muted so that the presenter can present his subject without interruption. However, the participants can write in their questions in the message box provided on the screen. The presenter also as the option to unmute the voices for the question answer session.

Web conferencing is an interactive method that is a replica of face to face meetings. All attendees can participate and have an opportunity to speak, share their presentation, and interact with each other throughout the meeting.
